Sweet Mady

When I go to get ready Mady takes the opportunity to explore the whole house. Today Wil was sitting at the kitchen table playing WOW and I came out of our room, saw Zach and Ashlyn and asked where Mady was...she had worn herself out and fallen asleep under Grandma's table at daddy's feet. Ha Ha

Uncle Tod

We all love it when Uncle Tod comes to visit. The kids loved having him here for Christmas. Even though we didn't get to go out and do a whole lot since I was sick the whole time. Wil, Tom, and Tod did have a lot of fun playing World of Warcraft though! I tried to get a picture of all of the kids on Uncle Tod's back, once I went to snap the photo, Ashlyn let go of Mady and she fell off Uncle Tod's back. Oops. Ha Ha These are the best pictures i could get. It is to go in Uncle Tod's new picture frame that the kids gave him for Christmas. It is painted the colors of the GreenBay Packers and it has a football on it and says #1 Uncle Tod! The kids were all sad that Uncle Tod had to go back to Fresno...it was a fun week!

Tradition

Well even though we didn't get to do too much while Uncle Tod was here visiting, we had to make it out to Chili's last night for dinner. we go every time he comes to visit. Uncle Tom offered to stay at the house and watch Zach and Ashlyn since Zach was sick and Ashlyn needed to go to bed. The food was so yummy and we had a good time just hanging out. Mady loves Chili's chocolate Molten cake too! Also, Wil was excited when he got his USC jersey for Christmas, but he was like I don't know how often I will wear it. Ha Ha Tod and I think it is funny that it is Sunday night now and he has worn it every day since he opened it. He keeps telling us how much he likes wearing it. Ha Ha

Merry Christmas!!!

Well Santa came and the kids were so excited this morning. I however was up all night sick throwing up. So I laid on the couch all morning trying to snap photos of the kids opening presents. Uncle Tod came to spend Christmas with us. Everyone had a good time and now Daddy, Zach, Ashlyn, and Mady are all napping. We decided not to do a big Christmas dinner, so we had Tri Tip, beans, and garlic bread. It would have tasted better to me if my taste buds were working! Everyone else loved it though. Zach came out this morning saying I wonder which square box has my Wall-E toy in it? Ha Ha. He also thought that it was so cool that he got a football hat of his dad's favorite pro team. GO STEELER'S!!! Wil got a USC Jersey from my parents. Ashlyn LOVED that her grandma and grandpa got her a my first big wheels that she can ride on out in the back yard. Yes I realize that her hair is in her face, I just couldn't even manage to get up and fix it. Oh well! She was so funny when she picked up the box that her bike was in. My camera takes forever to snap the photo and she insisted on lifting it up for the picture. She kept saying hurry mommy its heavy. Ha Ha Mady loved all of the wrapping paper, boxes, and food dropped on the floor. Ha Ha Her favorite present though was a crawling monkey toy. She chewed on it and followed it around the house all morning. We hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas and remember the true reason for this season.

Getting Ready for Santa

We usually take the kids to go look at lights and have a lot more family time on Christmas Eve, but not this year. Too much sickness going around. We finally made Santa's cookies at like 7 Ashlyn is just like her daddy was when he was little, here's one cookie for Santa, and one for Ashlyn. And Mady just crawled around on the ground eating the crumbs that Ashlyn dropped. Yummy!!! Ha Ha Then we opened our Christmas eve gifts(pj's and slippers) We have found that Ashlyn loves opening presents the most, and she helps everyone else open theirs. This year we got big slippers that look like sneakers for the kids, Zach saw them at the mall and thought that they were so cool. My favorite slippers are Mady's I couldn't believe they even had them that small! Then it was time for a bath and ready for bed. Zach went right to sleep when we told him Santa can't come til everyone is asleep. Ashlyn on the other hand is still awake. Mady crashed hard too. We are hoping everyone gets a good night sleep and that we have a good Christmas Day. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas too!

Just what I wanted...

Yea, just in time for Christmas! I went to the ER this morning for myself. I have had a sore throat, but it just got a lot worse last night. I ended up having Strep throat, Double ear infection, Massive headache, fever, I was throwing up at the ER, A sinus infection, and a pinched nerve in my lower back. It hurts to even move... I was given a penicillin injection at the hospital, and sent home with 3 different meds. Now I just need to try and get some rest so that I will be better for Christmas in two days. Luckily Wil is home right now dealing with Ashlyn, they went shopping at the mall while Zach is in preschool.

A special visitor!!!

I was picking Zach up from preschool today, and I had baby Mady with me. I got a phone call from Wil saying that his brother Tom was over and also a special visitor stopped by. We picked up some pizza's for lunch and the kids were so excited that their Uncle Jes came to see them on his way to Fresno. Here are the pictures I got of him with the kids, Ashlyn and Zach didn't cooperate very well. We miss seeing Jes all the time, but we are glad that he is happy in Utah. Here is a picture of Zach's gingerbread house that he made at school. He had eaten most of it with Ashlyn's help before I was able to get a picture.

Zach and Ashlyn got ready for Church today without any fighting and I couldn't quite figure it out, but when we were driving to church Zach said so we are going to the church where they have parties right? Yeah, he thought we would have a ward party every night. HA HA Nope, we are going to church to listen and learn about Jesus and sing songs. OH! HA HA HA Ashlyn walked around all day at church going hi, MERRY CHRISTMAS! Then she would look at you like now give me some candy. I had to explain to her that you only get to say trick or treat to get candy, and that is only on Halloween. HA HA. She was so funny! We took some pictures by the tree while we were waiting to leave for church. These are the only ones that turned out decent though. Wil came home today to surprise us. We are excited because he doesn't have to leave again until Jan. 2nd. Ashlyn keeps saying daddy are you going to stay or go? She is definitely a daddy's girl!

I've been nice

Well Ashlyn had a long day. We tried to leave Zach and Ashlyn home with Grandpa today while we went shopping, but they insisted on coming along for the ride. Ashlyn was playing with Zach's beanie in the stroller at the mall, and when I got to the car I said Ashlyn where is Zach's beanie? I threw it down in the store she said...I didn't want it anymore. OH GREAT! Yeah so mommy got to go search the whole mall again, only to find that it was gone for good. Zach was not happy with her. He said Ashlyn you are so naughty now Santa isn't going to bring you any presents for Christmas. She has to keep telling us all the time that she is being nice...Yeah then we went to Super target and she threw a huge fit in the store, then on the way home threw a whole bag of popcorn all over the back of my car. She was really on a roll today...then we went to the ward Christmas party tonight and she was all excited to see santa. She walked right up to him, climbed on his lap and said HEY SANTA, What's up? He said how are you little girl and she said I'm PRETTY GOOD...and you? HA HA HA Ashlyn is so funny. She talks like that to everyone. When santa said so do you want a barbie for Christmas she said no...I want a spiderman toy. HA HA HA!!! Then he asked Zach if he has been good. He said yes and that he wants a WALL-E toy. We will see if santa comes through for him. My kids are really excited for Christmas to come. They loved the visit from Santa tonight except, Mady wasn't really a fan!
