Olive Garden

I swear my kids would rather go to Olive Garden for every meal then have anything else!!!! And this mama is okay with it because they eat really well! Zach ate a whole bowl of fettucini and three breadsticks... Ashlyn ate a whole bowl of fettucini, a breadstick, and salad...Mady ate a whole bowl of fettucini, 1 1/2 breadsticks and salad...My kids LOVE it!

We had been out shopping all day and the kids were so good and I said lets do something fun now, you guys were so good today...Zach was all can we go eat at olive garden? SURE!

REALLY...you have to post a sign to tell people that???? These were posted all over at Wil's hotel.
I was pulling out of Burger King parking lot and it says RIGHT TURN ONLY...you can't have it your way on this one!

Warden Olin G. Blackwell...It didn't shock me that it was a guy with the last name Blackwell that was one of the 4 warden's that alcatraz had...We are tough folk!
It didn't turn out great from the rain and fog...but I think it is a cool picture of the city from Alcatraz...

6 men planned a major escape from Alcatraz...they got out using spoons...they dug threw this cement...can you even imagine!!!!

Wil and I have NEVER left the kids for longer than 15 hours...It was time!!!!

Wil has been working up north so the hotel was paid for...We had a free round trip ticket that was going to expire this month so that was free...I got to Martinez tuesday night and we had a lot of time to just sit and relax...go to the movies...Wil even got to take a day off of work so we could go in to San Fransisco and do touristy stuff. I got to meet a good friend from Fresno in San Fransisco one day to shop too! Went to dinner and lunch with Wil and the guys he works with...never a dull moment when you are with these guys! They laugh so loud and have fun to where everyone else in the restaurant is trying to see what was so funny. We had so much fun and were very blessed to have Great friends...Liz, Kellee, and JILLIAN and my parents who helped out! We can't thank them enough!!!!

Zach's Party

This is what he wanted the cake to look like!
We sure tried, I even had the wings up on top of the cake...It looked cool, but we tried for hours and the head kept falling back, and the last time it fell over it messed up part of the cake, So two hours before party time we started again from scratch, I baked a new cake, ran to the store for more frosting...etc.
We got to take pizza for snack at Zach's school and his sisters were so excited to go eat by him. Ashlyn did really well just hanging out with the big kids!

We have been reading the diary of a wimpy kid and LOVES them. We just finished our first book last night!
The RC car that daddy had to have...I mean for Zach of course! Oh and don't mind his swollen eye...he had a piece of bark stuck in his eye for 3 hours before the party...we got it out about 20 minutes before people started showing up...the swelling and redness is from us flushing his eye with water and messing with it! Poor kid

Grandpa and Grandma even took turns getting in the bounce house with the kids...Grandma didn't want a picture on here though!!!! The kids LOVED it!

My Zachy man is 6 and he said that he wanted a Bakugan cake...He showed me with his card and toy what he wanted it to look like, I really tried my hardest, but 2 1/2 hours before party time the head fell off and broke part of the cake...So this mommy had a 6 year old that was very sad and it was time to go into cake mode quick and do a simple cake that would be ready by party time! Here are some pictures from the party...it was a lot of fun! We love our Zachy man.

Zachy Man

Oh how I remember 6 years ago today so clearly...All of the trips to Labor and Delivery, all of the Puking, Itching, and sleepless nights were over! I was SO excited to finally be having my baby. We were staying at my brother's house...Our apartment was all boxed up, Wil flew in the day before from working in Florida. We got a phone call at 6:00 am saying that they had a bed ready for us...We jumped up got outside only to find LOTS of fresh snow (it was still coming down too) I sat in the car while wil scraped the windows. We were so EXCITED!!!! We got to the hospital, walked into the registration room and the lady said can I help you...we said yeah we are here to have a baby...she said UM how far along are you (did I mention I threw up for 8 1/2 months...nonstop) I said 37 weeks today. So we were there almost 12 hours at this point (I'll spare you all the yucky details of being in labor!) Then at 6:21 p.m. he was here. My sweet little Zachy man.

6 years later we still love this guy SO much, he is so fun to be around! We hope that your birthday is the BEST! Love ya Zachy Man
