A moment of silence...

Zach is really upset. His pet fish Dragon just died. He has had a lot of questions for us. I feel so bad, I am not by any means a fan of fishies, or pets right now, but poor Zach was so sad. We still have Dory though!

Ashlyn's 3

My sweet Ashlyn is 3 years old today. I love this little girl. She is a ball full of energy and always keeps me on my toes. She is such a big helper and a tender heart too. We love her so much and are so happy that she chose to join our family. Life wouldn't be the same without our little hot mama...She is a daddy's girl and he loves it! She can't wait to see him on the days he comes home. She is such a smart little girl. We love watching her learn and figure out new things. She doesn't give up on something until she gets it right. I love her so much...Wil is out of town for her birthday, so we had her party last week, Ashlyn decided that she wanted to go to Olive Garden for lunch on monday, so I took all the kids Ashlyn calls it noodles house. My kids love fetuccini. Today Zach had preschool, so while he was gone I took Ashlyn and Mady to the nail salon. Ashlyn got her fingernails and toenails painted. I got a pedicure. Shelley came with us to help with Mady. Ashlyn kept saying mom this is so fun, we should do this everyday. She picked out her own nailpolish (hot pink) She was so good, it was a lot of fun. Then we went to the mall for lunch, she wanted hot dog on a stick...We came home and got Grandma and went to see Hannah Montana. Zach really didn't want to go, but he was a trooper...it was a lot of fun. The movie was okay, but watching Ashlyn dance and try to do the same moves as hannah montana was hilarious, she sang all of the songs with her...it was great. My mom and I were laughing so hard! Then pizza for dinner. It was a great day. We love you Ashlyn!

When Wil is home on Fridays we usually try and go to the mall for lunch and hang out. We enjoyed different lunches, then mommy and mady shopped while the kids ran around the play place, then we shared some yummy Dairy Queen. Then we had Zach's baseball practice Friday night. Saturday Morning Zach had a TBall game before we went to sea world, it was fun to watch him play, but freezing outside too.

This HUGE kid play area was kind of scary because you could send the kids in one way, but they could come out 3 different ways and it took forever to find them... the kids loved it though.
This is what Mady did for about an hour while the older kids played on the ropes...

We decided to go and meet Wil's cousin Crystal and her family at Sea World after Zach's T-ball game. It was a lot of fun, and since you get the fun pass we will definitely go again soon. Zach's favorite part was just looking at the octopus, Ashlyn's favorite part was the penguins, Mady was like oooh ahhh at everything and was clapping a lot during the shamu and the dolphin shows, so I would say that was her favorite part of the day. We had a fun day.

Ashlyn got make-up for her birthday and she was telling her daddy that this is what girls do in the morning to get pretty. Can you tell she did it all by herself???

Ashlyn's 3rd Birthday Party

Ashlyn is going to be 3 next Tuesday, Wil is going to be out of town then, so we did her party tonight. It was a lot of fun. She wanted a D D D D D Dora party. It actually worked out pretty good. We did pizza, then we went on a hunt for the Big Pinata that Swiper stole. Along the way swiper had dropped some of the prizes from the pinata and we picked them all up along the way, then when Ashlyn found the rope, she was supposed to pull on it to find the big pinata, but she freaked out thinking that it was going to be an actual swiper that would pop out...oh well! So we went through the big tunnel, then opened the gate by saying open in spanish, then went around the berry tree 3 times, then over to the rope where the pinata was. The kids had fun, then we hooked up the pinata and let everyone have a turn trying to knock it down, then Wil broke it open for us. Wil thought it was funny that we kept having to tell the kids there is still more candy, go get it... Then we sang happy birthday and did cake. Everyone liked picking which piece of the dora cake they wanted, then Ashlyn opened her presents. Thanks to everyone who came. She had a great birthday party. Glad some of her nursery friends could come help celebrate. It was great to have Lexi there too! And she was so excited that Dean and Elle wanted to come to her Dora party...thanks again. To my Ashlyn, we love you sweet little girl!
