Apple Valley Town Days

We took the kids to Apple Valley town days last Saturday with my mom. There wasn't a whole lot to do, but Zach loved seeing the police cars and boats and motorcycles. Ashlyn liked the Alligator bounce house. And they both loved the Kettle Corn. The kids had a great time until the deadly obstacle course bounce house attacked me and Ashlyn...(long story) Well the end of the day ended with another trip to the ER...Ashlyn again yes! She had a really swollen finger that looked like it might be dislocated. Luckily, it was not!!! It was just a contusion which is a bad bruise on the soft tissue. Just missed two bones in the finger. She also had a bad abrasion right under the nail on the left ring finger. She was freaking out and screaming and wouldn't let you touch it, so my mom and I took her in. They did 3 Xrays and she did great. They even gave her a book for being so brave. They gave her Tylenol with Codeine and said this will mellow her out...Guess again. She was jumping on the bed, yelling pumpkin then laughing so hard, and screaming get me out of here and I wanna watch Alvin and the Chipmunks...Where is the movie theater. Ha Ha My mom and I got a good laugh out of her on meds, but it did not mellow her out. We got home a little after midnight and she crashed hard. She is doing better now. Dora Band aids fix everything in our house right now for her.
