Cake Time

Well we try and do some type of dessert on Sunday that the kids can help make. I bought a cake pan that makes 6 little cakes that are Christmas trees and gingerbread men. I let Zach and Ashlyn help make the cake mix, then I let them decorate their own cake. Ashlyn always sticks on a big glob of frosting and then can't wait to mutulate it by eating it and making a huge mess. Zach on the other hand, he did a gingerbread man and he frosted the top of it with white frosting, then chocolate frosting to give the gingerbread man some hair, eyebrows, and then m&m's for the eyes and nose, and a tootsie roll for the mouth. He is so into detail it is funny. Then he took a couple bites and was like thanks mom, that was fun. You can tell by the pictures that Zach is still not 100% better, but he is getting there.

Here it goes again.....

Well Zach and Ashlyn went to bed last night at 10 and everyone was feeling fine. At about 1 in the morning. Zach started choking. I went in there and he sat up and threw up everywhere. He threw up all night long. Wil was sleeping in because he had a headache this morning, and as I was helping Zach in the hall bathroom. Cleaning up...Wil was in another bathroom throwing up. Enough with this already. I hope it goes away quick like Ashlyn's did....Another long night for us!!!

Poor Grandma!!!!

Okay, so the kids were really whiny all day and just not getting along. Here are some of the events of the evening. Zach and Ashlyn got in trouble for fighting when Zach said ashlyn smells...ashlyn said no I don't zachy, mommy already changed me...zach said no you smell ashlyn. Ashlyn walked up to zach full fisted clocked him upside the head and said beat it doofus. Ha Ha This is how they were all night. Not getting along at all. Well they started fighting again at 7 tonight and Wil said that's it, go to bed. Zach as he walked to his room said fine, then I don't even want to be a Bradshaw anymore. Yeah that went over big with daddy. Ha Ha They came back out to play and were spinning around in grandpa's chair when they tipped it over. It fell on top of Zach and he started screaming. Ashlyn started crying too. I came and picked Zach up, held him on my lap on the couch, My mom picked up Ashlyn and was holding her right next to me...My mom said Ashlyn are you ok? Ashlyn turned to my mom and becoming like the exorcist, shot vomit all over my mom. As my mom and I started laughing and Ashlyn was still crying, she then nailed me and zach with vomit. That started Zach's screaming again. I don't know what is up with that girl...anyways, after we got everyone cleaned up again. The kids finally mellowed out and went to bed. Zach said to me, mommmy why were you laughing earlier? I said that it was kind of funny when ashlyn threw up everywhere and he let me know that you don't laugh when people throw up on you, you are supposed to cry. (I will have to remember that for next time...and knowing Ashlyn there will be a next time!!!) Hope your night was better.

Holiday Pictures

Well on Monday I took the kids to get their pictures taken for holiday cards, and get Ashlyn's picture taken since it had been a while. Well we got there at 10:30 and were scheduled at 11:00 we did three outfit changes on Aslyn and two on Zach and Mady, it was so chaotic. Ashlyn was going crazy the whole time and Mady wouldn't smile for anything. At noon I decided that I had had enough and so had the kids, so we did what is called taking a time out. We went home and had to do it all over again at 6:00 p.m. My mom went with me this time. It still took forever, but with a lot of saying cheese and candy, the kids finally did good and we got some decent pictures. Here is the 8x12 that I got. At least now we have our holiday cards ready to go out and it is just the middle of Nov. Score for us!!!!!

Primary Program

It was our Primary Program today and we have been practicing Zach's part for weeks now. I didn't want him to get up there and freeze. He knew all of the songs...I mean he knew the rhythm for all of the primary songs and danced to the beat for the whole program...when it was his turn to get up and say his part........HE DID IT!!!! He didn't need any help, he stood up there, smiled, and said I KNOW JESUS LIVES!!!! We were so happy and he was beaming. Grandma and Grandpa were enjoying watching him sway to the music, and apparently so were a lot of other people in the ward who came up to us afterwards and said that's your son, it was so fun to watch him. There were 3 sunbeams and they all did pretty much the same, it was a lot of fun to watch and the bishopric even told their teacher she should get some type of hazard pay for dealing with them during the program. Wil and I were just stoked that he didn't forget his part.

Cousins

Well my sister and brother-in-law came down to visit for Halloween, and they are leaving in the morning. Ashlyn finally felt a little better today and was able to play more, we tried to get pictures of all the cousins together, and it never seemed to work. Here are the best ones we got. My kids call their cousin Kholkan...His name is Kolton.

Who needs teeth???

Well we have been thinking that Mady is teething for like three months now. Nothing yet, but the girl is so ready to just eat table food. She doesn't like any baby food, baby juice, or any baby treats that you can buy, so tonight she sat at the table for the first time in a booster seat and thought that she was so cool, she kept laughing and making noises. The girl ate meatloaf, baked potatoe, jello, and rolls. And loved it all!!! So I guess you don't really need teeth to enjoy a good meal.
