I'm Tired

These words I hear A LOT lately because of a little something that we purchased a couple of months ago;)

A trampoline.  Wil bought it from a guy at work and they actually came and set it up while we were gone one day...when we came home the girls went crazy, then when Zach got home he was so excited!!!  My kids love to be outside on the trampoline...and so do the neighbors and all of their friends.  We got it a few days before my parents came into town so my kids talked grandma and grandpa into jumping with them!!! My kids LOVE that grandma and grandpa will get out there and play with them;)  Here are some pictures of the kiddos on the trampoline.

MOMMY

Mady is our little firecracker and LOVES to say things to have us all laughing.  Well today we were running late for church because we had a big ANT situation in the restroom and I was cleaning that up....well when we were done we went upstairs to get everyone's hair done.  I was doing Mady's hair and it was already past time to be on our way...I said oh mady someone is trying really hard to make sure that we don't make it to church today...she said who's that?  I said Satan is trying really hard to make sure we don't make it to church...She says UHHUHH MOMMY his name is Nathen...not Satan

Ashlyn's 5

Ashlyn had preschool today and was so excited to take chocolate cupcakes with pink sprinkles to her class.  When school was over I showed up with purple flowers for my Ashlyn and if you know Ashlyn at all you know the mouth open hands shaking so excited look that she gave me when she saw them;) Melts my heart every time!  Ashlyn I hope that this year is full of fun and exciting times for you with Kindergarten coming your way...I hope you continue to love to dance because I love to watch you dance;)  You amaze me every day with how much you know and you are so sweet to everyone and everyone LOVES you because of that!

My big girl Ashlyn is turning 5 today.  I LOVE this girl to pieces.  She is my sweet girlie who loves to please everyone right now.  She is such a big helper with Nate and she helps Mady out all the time...she is the 2nd mama in our house.  She has definitely turned my tom boy world upside down...she is 100 % girl.  She loves everything pink and purple and sparling.

It is so fun to celebrate Ashlyn's big day...everything is so EXCITING!!!!!   and what did the big girl ask for for her big birthday dinner????   Salmon and baked potatoes;)  Sounds good to me, and isn't that what every 5 yr old wants for diner? We love you so much Ashlyn

Ashlyn's 5th Birthday Party

What a fun day...I LOVE that I have little girlies that love to have fun girlie parties.  Ashlyn follows in Zach's footsteps by asking for very particular things as far as the cake goes.  This year she wanted a Hannah Montana party.  She wanted a two tier cake, one that was chocolate and one that was rainbow cake.  It turned out ok...not my favorite cake I've done, but it will do!  Ashlyn loved being in the kitchen watching me make the cake and decorate it.
We have been celebrating her birthday all week.  Sunday we took little cupcakes to her primary class at church, then monday we took cupcakes to her dance class, today cake for the party and I still need to frost the cupcakes that she wants to take to preschool tomorrow.
Ashlyn is such a fun little girl who loves the most random little things.  SOCKS from the dollar bin at target is like hitting the jackpot for Ashlyn.  My mom knows this and always pulls through with some really cool socks for her, this year her favorites....SMURFS!
Wil and I decided it was time to get our sweet girlie a big girl bike!!!  She was so excited;)

Easter Weekend

This Easter we stayed home and we didn't have any family in town...it was nice to just do our own thing!;)  We didn't have baseball or dance on saturday so we ended up taking the kiddos to see Diary of a Whimpy Kid at the dollar theater when daddy got off work.  Then we dyed easter eggs and got cleaned up and ready for bed!!! Our kids were so excited so they woke us at 5:45 to tell us the easter bunny had been to our house.;)  We went downstairs and looked in easter baskets and did an easter egg hunt in the backyard.  It was a really fun time.  Then we had bunny pancakes for breakfast and got cleaned up and ready for church.  It was a great day!!!!  Then we made a big Easter dinner and just relaxed the rest of the day!  Life is good;)
