Big Day for Mady

Well she finally did it. She hit the 20 lb mark. Her doctor has been waiting for this for a while now! My mady is finally on the chart...first time ever I think! Her iron is finally okay where she can go back to eating whatever she wants...so that's good! We are so excited that we don't have to be at the Dr. office every few weeks anymore. She doesn't have to go back until she is 2 which is only 4 months away. Yay Mady!

P.S. The doctor said well you can move her out of her infant car seat now...hmmm

(We did that like 10 months ago...shhh don't tell her doctor!)

Mady was really nervous today...probably because every time we go there the prick her and poke her with needles and always tell us she's too small and her irons too low and yada yada yada...She's just not going to be a BIG girl and I'm okay with that!

First Field Trip

Zach went on his first field trip today to a local pumpkin patch. He was SO excited to ride the bus. He kept saying mom look at me now I am an official bus rider...isn't this awesome. I loved being there with him! Everything was so exciting! There were so many parents that volunteered to come along which made my life easy...I was only in charge of Zach and one other little boy. They had a good time playing games on my Iphone on the way to the pumpkin patch and back...Loved singing songs on the bus, and stayed together the whole time at the pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun!

Mommy & Me Carnival

Our ward isn't doing a carnival for Halloween, so I decided to put one together for a Mommy & Me activity. We had 16 moms come and about 45-50 kids. It was so much fun to just see the excitement on the kids faces as they played the games. Well worth the time spent putting this carnival together. Thanks to all the mama's that helped out!

A local Catholic Church was having a huge carnival this weekend and they asked Ashlyn's dance studio to come and dance at the carnival. It was 56 degrees outside, and about 50 mph winds going on...it was frigid! I was AMAZED at how well Ashlyn did at her dance. She has only been dancing for 5 weeks now, which means 5 hours of dance time! She didn't even stop dancing when her bracelet flew off her arm and blew away, which is exactly what a good little dancer does...you just keep on dancing! They danced to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star... Daddy showed up just in time with a dozen pink roses...(someone gave him a little tip that flowers would be a good idea, we won't say who)
